Frequently Asked Questions
Who is responsible for bank and wire transfer fees?
The customer is responsible for all fees associated with a wire transfer or other bank payment. This includes fees charged by the sending bank and any intermediary, correspondent, receiving, or other financial institution involved in processing the payment. These fees must be prepaid by the customer and must not be deducted from the invoice amount.
When arranging an international wire transfer, please instruct your bank that all transfer charges are for the sender's account. MEGATOP must receive the full invoiced amount in the currency stated on the invoice. Please contact your bank before sending payment if you are unsure whether intermediary or correspondent-bank fees may apply.
What happens if MEGATOP receives less than the invoice total?
If bank fees, intermediary-bank charges, currency-conversion costs, or other deductions cause MEGATOP to receive less than the full invoice total, the payment will be considered incomplete. The customer must promptly pay the remaining balance, including any additional fees required to deliver that balance in full.
Order processing, release, or shipment may be delayed until the complete invoiced amount has been received and verified. To avoid delays, please confirm the total transfer cost with your bank and send sufficient funds to ensure that MEGATOP receives the exact amount due.
What should I do before forwarding or exporting an order internationally?
Customers must inspect and verify all merchandise before it is forwarded, exported, installed, resold, or delivered to an end user. Please confirm the manufacturer, model number, part number, configuration, programming, voltage, quantity, and included components against your order documents.
Any incorrect, damaged, defective, or missing merchandise should be reported to MEGATOP within five business days of delivery and before the order is forwarded or exported. Do not return merchandise or incur return-shipping expenses without prior authorization from MEGATOP.
If a product is forwarded or exported before it is inspected, MEGATOP may not be responsible for additional international freight, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, storage charges, or other downstream expenses. If MEGATOP or the manufacturer supplied an incorrect or defective product, we will review the circumstances and coordinate an appropriate return, replacement, repair, or other available resolution. Reimbursement of secondary shipping expenses is not automatic and will be evaluated individually based on the circumstances, supporting documentation, and applicable manufacturer policies.
