Online privacy and security are of the most importance at Megatop. Please take a moment to review this privacy policy (the "Policy") which we hope will address any questions you may have. We encourage you to contact us anytime with questions or feedback about this Policy or how we can use your information.

This Policy applies to the Megatop website and any phone, fax, or email/mail operations related to processing orders, questions about products or services, and our marketing contacts with customers. 

This Policy does not apply to other websites we may link, to other companies or persons who might be listed as third-party contacts, or to whom we may refer customers if they call or write to us.

 

Information Collection

  1. Megatop does collect your information from you when you solely:
    • register on our website;
    • make an online purchase or other transaction with us;
    • fill out the information in our web forms;
    • contact us via email, Live Chat, SMS, or phone;
    • post a review or comment on one of our social media pages;

Use of Collected Information

Megatop does not sell, rent, release, disclose, transfer, or otherwise communicate orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means your personal information to another business or a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, except those specified in the Sharing Personal Information section of this policy.
  2. Any financial information that is collected is used solely for billing purposes. We do not store customers' payment information, such as complete credit card numbers or security codes. We only store the last four digits of a credit card and the type of credit card. Your credit card and personal and financial information are processed by the merchant bank for authorization and approval when the transaction is conducted. This process is protected by an enhanced security system. See the Safety & Security section for more details on security measures and procedures. We only collect relevant and necessary data to complete transactions and provide timely and accurate delivery of the requested products and information.

The information collected on the Megatop website is used internally for many purposes, such as:

  • Providing products or services;
  • Processing and confirming orders and returns;
  • Automating order status via email;
  • Responding to customers’ inquiries or requests;
  • Delivering merchandise that customers purchase;
  • Billing customer’s credit card for purchases;
  • Analyzing trends and research on improving our products and services;

Sharing Personal Information

Safety & Security

  1. Megatop takes all precautions to protect our customers' information. We implemented and kept updating several technological protection measures to ensure that your information is protected and secure when you submit sensitive information via our site.
  2. Submitting your order to the Megatop website is only allowed in a secure mode enabling Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. You may see a solid key icon or a locked padlock icon at the lower portion of your web browser window. This ensures that your private & critical information, such as your credit card number, your name, company name, addresses, and telephone numbers, are encrypted. Megatop protects and encrypts with the GoDaddy SSL certificate with strong SHA-2 & 2048-bit encryption in compliance with the US Government's National Institute for Standards and Technology's post recommendations for SSL root key strength.
  3. To make a payment, besides the name, shipping, and billing address, a customer must also enter a card type, card number, and expiration date. The credit card information and personal and financial information are processed by the merchant bank for authorization and approval when the transaction is conducted. This process is protected by an enhanced security system.
  4. All of our user’s information is restricted in our offices, and only our employees are granted access to the customers' information. All our computers, web servers, and database servers are in a safe and secure area and protected by the required software. Access to the database is strictly protected from outside. We monitor and restrict access with various firewalls and passwords. Our employees are trained and kept up-to-date on our security and privacy policies.

Information Verification

  1. For your and our fraud protection, we may need to verify all information you provide before we dispatch your order. We may use this contact information to get in touch with you. We may also contact your credit card's issuing bank if we have questions related to your order.

    When you reach a Customer Service Representative, we may also ask for personal information. This allows us to protect your confidentiality by verifying your identity.

 

Cookies & Additional Computer Information

  1. The content of the Megatop website is customized based on your browser type and other information provided by our cookie. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your web browser, enabling the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.   2. Megatop uses Google AdWords Remarketing to advertise Megatop across the Internet. AdWords remarketing will display relevant ads tailored to you based on what parts of this site you have viewed by placing a cookie on your machine. This cookie does not identify you or give access to your computer. The cookie may say, "This person visited this page, so show them ads relating to that page.” Google AdWords Remarketing allows Megatop to tailor our marketing to better suit your needs and only display ads that are relevant to you.

They are about Megatop’s products or services.

 

Controlling Tracking Tool

  1. Some browsers have a "do not track" feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Unfortunately, these features are not yet uniform. We are not currently set up to respond to those signals.
  2. You can control some of our use of cookies. How you do so depends on the type of cookie. For example, you can configure specific browsers to reject browser cookies. 
  3. To control flash cookies, which we may use on certain websites from time to time, go to: www.macromedia.com. Why? Because flash cookies do not reside in your browser, and thus your browser settings will not affect them. Choices you make about cookies are also browser and device-specific.
  4. If you configure your computer or device to block cookies on your browser, certain site features or functionality may not work. In addition, if you block or delete cookies, not all of the tracking described in this notice will stop.

 

Your Account Information

  1. You must create a username and password of your choice for your future access to your Account information, transactions history, order status, merchandise search, etc. Your responsibility is to maintain the security of your email address and password, as any actions taken while logged into your account. Do not share your username and password with anyone. Sign off when finished using a shared computer. 
  2. If you would like to receive our newsletter or promotions, your contact information will be used for the delivery of these items. Of course, you may choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features.

Right to Delete Personal Informatio

  1. We do not sell, rent, release, disclose, transfer, or communicate orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means your personal information to another business or a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.
  2. We do, however, provide you with the opportunity to satisfy your Right to Delete the personal information collected, used, and stored by Megatop. Email us at sales@megatop.com from the email address registered with your account, requesting that your personal information be deleted. When your Megatop Account is deleted, your personal information is deleted, and you will no longer access it.

 

Children’s Privacy

  1. Megatop site is not directed at or targeted to children under 13. We do not use our site to knowingly collect personal information from or market to children under 13. No part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13. If you are under the age of 13, do not provide us with any personal information. If we learn that someone under 13 has provided personal information, we will use reasonable efforts to remove such information from our databases. We do not provide services designed to allow children to make their personal information available online. 

 

Special Notice for California Residents

  1. The following applies solely to all visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California. We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and its regulations. Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this notice.
