Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, delivered, and handled in transit. By placing an order, you agree to this policy and our Terms & Conditions and Return & Cancelation Policy.

Processing & Lead Time

  1. Orders are generally processed Monday through Friday, excluding observed holidays.
  2. In-stock items often ship within 1 to 3 business days after payment authorization, verification, and order review, but this is an estimate only and not a guarantee.
  3. Lead times vary for non-stock, manufacturer-direct, drop-ship, special-order, built-to-order, or custom Products.
  4. Estimated ship dates are based on the best information available at the time and may change because of supplier updates, production delays, allocation limits, weather, freight congestion, compliance review, or other factors outside Megatop’s reasonable control.
  5. Megatop reserves the right to cancel, modify, or partially fulfill any order with extended, uncertain, or impractical lead times and refund unshipped amounts where applicable.
  6. If timing is critical, please contact us before ordering.

 

Standard Shipping

  1. Standard parcel shipments are typically sent by UPS, FedEx, USPS, or another carrier selected by Megatop, depending on the Product, destination, and fulfillment source.
  2. Transit time is typically 1 to 7 business days depending on destination, but actual transit time may vary.
  3. Transit times are carrier estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  4. Some Products may ship directly from the manufacturer or a third-party warehouse and may arrive separately from other items in the same order.
  5. Partial shipments and multiple shipments from different locations are normal and do not constitute incomplete fulfillment or grounds for cancellation or refund.

 

Expedited Shipping

  1. Expedited shipping may be available on a case-by-case basis for eligible Products.
  2. Availability depends on stock status, supplier capability, order timing, cutoff times, packaging requirements, and carrier restrictions.
  3. Hazmat items, oversized items, freight shipments, special-order items, manufacturer-direct items, and certain restricted Products may not qualify for expedited shipping.
  4. Customer may be asked to provide a carrier account number for urgent shipments.
  5. Carrier service levels, including expedited or time-definite services, are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing by Megatop. Carrier delays, including delays affecting expedited shipments, do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund of product cost, or liability beyond what is recoverable from the carrier, if any.

 

Shipping Rates & Charges

  1. Shipping rates are based on weight, dimensions, destination, service level, carrier rules, and the shipping origin.
  2. Megatop reserves the right to adjust shipping charges if actual carrier or freight costs materially differ from quoted, estimated, or checkout rates.
  3. Customer approval may be required before shipment if there is a significant shipping-cost difference.
  4. Additional charges may apply for address corrections, remote areas, limited-access locations, residential delivery, re-delivery, storage, liftgate service, inside delivery, appointment delivery, oversized items, hazmat handling, or other carrier-imposed accessorial charges.
  5. Customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. Megatop is not responsible for delays, additional charges, or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses. Address corrections, re-routing, or re-delivery may result in additional carrier fees payable by the Customer.

 

Free Shipping

  1. Free shipping applies only to qualifying orders and destinations, generally within the contiguous United States, unless expressly stated otherwise.
  2. Free shipping covers standard outbound shipping only.
  3. Additional services such as liftgate, residential delivery, limited-access delivery, expedited service, inside delivery, appointment service, or other special handling are not included unless expressly stated.
  4. If an order or item is returned, actual outbound shipping costs incurred by Megatop may be deducted from any refund where permitted under the applicable policy, even if the original order qualified for free shipping.
  5. Free shipping offers may be modified, suspended, or withdrawn at any time.

 

Hazardous Materials

  1. Hazardous materials and other regulated Products are subject to special handling, packaging, documentation, and carrier restrictions.
  2. Additional charges may apply and are the Customer’s responsibility.
  3. Hazmat Products may be limited to specific carriers, service levels, destinations, or ground transportation only.
  4. Many hazmat items cannot be shipped internationally or by expedited air service.
  5. Return eligibility for hazmat Products may be limited or unavailable. Please review our Return & Cancelation Policy.

 

Tracking & Delivery

  1. Tracking information is generally provided once the order ships, when available from the carrier or fulfillment source.
  2. Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  3. Megatop is not responsible for carrier delays, missed delivery windows, weather interruptions, routing problems, customs delays, address problems, or other issues occurring after shipment is tendered to the carrier.
  4. Orders may ship in multiple packages, from multiple locations, or on different dates.
  5. Once a shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the Customer. Megatop is not liable for lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery.
  6. Refused shipments, undeliverable shipments, or failed delivery attempts may result in return shipping charges, restocking fees, and other deductions in accordance with our Return & Cancelation Policy.

 

Missing, Lost, or Delayed Shipments

  1. Customers must report missing, lost, misdelivered, or materially delayed shipments within 60 days of shipment, or sooner if the carrier requires a shorter claim window.
  2. If tracking shows delivered but the package cannot be found, Customer should first check the delivery location, nearby entrances, parcel lockers, garage areas, neighbors, and other persons at the delivery address.
  3. Megatop may assist at its discretion in opening a carrier investigation or claim where appropriate, but carrier decisions remain outside Megatop’s control.
  4. Any compensation for lost or damaged shipments is subject to carrier policies, claim approval, and carrier liability limits. Megatop does not guarantee reimbursement beyond amounts recovered from the carrier, if any.
  5. Failure to report shipping problems within the applicable timeframe may result in denied claims, reduced recovery options, or inability to investigate.

 

LTL Freight (Important)

  1. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, freight shipments are made F.O.B. Origin. Title and risk of loss pass upon tender of the shipment to the carrier.
  2. Customer must inspect all freight shipments at delivery before signing the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading.
  3. Check for visible damage, crushed packaging, torn wrapping, water exposure, shortages, or missing pieces.
  4. If any visible damage or shortage exists, it must be noted clearly on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt before signing.
  5. Failure to note visible damage or shortage at delivery may impair or eliminate the ability to file a freight claim.
  6. Concealed damage or hidden shortage must be reported promptly after delivery. Keep all original packaging and take clear photos of the shipment, label, packaging, and damaged Product.
  7. Megatop may assist at its discretion with freight claims, but Megatop does not guarantee claim approval and is not responsible for carrier claim decisions.
  8. Liftgate, inside delivery, residential delivery, appointment delivery, limited-access delivery, storage, detention, and re-delivery services may result in additional charges payable by the Customer.

 

International Shipping

  1. International shipping is available only for eligible Products, destinations, and order types.
  2. International availability depends on manufacturer restrictions, export controls, destination-country rules, and carrier availability.
  3. Customer is responsible for all duties, taxes, brokerage fees, import charges, customs clearance costs, and destination-country compliance requirements.
  4. Customer must comply with all export and import laws and provide any information or documentation required for compliance.
  5. Some Products may be shipped only to a U.S.-based freight forwarder rather than directly to the final international destination.

Pick-Up, Hold, & Storage

  1. Local pick-up or customer-arranged carrier pick-up may be available only by prior approval.
  2. If a shipment or order is held at the Customer’s request, storage, handling, re-delivery, or rescheduling charges may apply.
  3. Orders not picked up or released within a reasonable period may be canceled, restocked, or subject to storage and administrative fees.
  4. Unclaimed orders may be treated as canceled or abandoned orders, subject to applicable deductions and charges.
