The WSG30 Wireless Water Detection Sensors are designed to work exclusively with the Sensaphone WSG30. These sensors include a built-in radio transmitter and water sensing probes for monitoring for the presence of water. The Spot Water Detection sensor will monitor for the presence of water directly under the sensor. The Zone Water Detection sensor connects to a water sensing rope which provides up to 10' of coverage. Up to nine additional lengths of water rope can be added to extend the monitoring area. The sensors comes with three AA alkaline batteries which will power the sensor for up to two years. An optional plug-in power supply is also available, in which case the batteries then become a backup if the main AC power fails. The wireless sensor can be placed up to 300' away from the WSG30 or further if multiple sensors are used to create a mesh network. To install, simply lay the sensor on the floor wherever it is suspected water will collect.
