It is not uncommon for forklift traffic, pallet stacking, and other industrial abuses to damage some floor tapes. Protected vinyl tape lines last an average of 5 times longer when compared to those that are unprotected. Overlaminate tape protection is one of the easiest ways to protect your vinyl tape from damage, and its quick-release liner makes it easy to install in your facility.

Tape protection has a slightly textured surface layer that provides resistance to heavy foot traffic, carts, and even forklifts. The other side is coated with a rubber-based adhesive that bonds well to most surfaces including floors, doors, walls, and counters. Tape protection is also highly conformable, abrasion resistant, waterproof, and resistant to chemicals, so it will last a long time. Once it's applied its transparency makes it discreet, yet completely functional.

We recommend using an over-laminate that is 1"-2" or more wider than your tape lines. For instance: If you have 2" lines, we recommend a 3" over-laminate. This allows for a clearance of .5" over-laminate on both sides of the tape line, which will ensure maximum durability.
