2.8K Type Ultra Low Temperature Sensor in Glycol Vial with Teflon Cable
Features:
- Capable of measuring temperatures from -58° to 176°F
- Glycol bottle buffers temperature during defrost cycles or when refrigerator/freezer doors are opened for a short period of time
- Accurate to ± 1°F
- Includes 12' of wire
By placing the sensor in a bottle filled with glycol users will receive a reading that represents the temperature of the freezer's contents rather than the ambient air temperature. Will trigger an alarm when the temperature falls outside of the programmed high or low temperature limit. The glycol filled vial will also buffer any momentary fluctuations that may cause a preliminary alarm dial out, such as defrost cycles, opening of doors, and fans circulating air. The glycol will slow the response time of the sensor allowing normal daily operations to occur without having an alarm.
